How It Works
Lynparza (Olaparib) 150mg Tablets belong to a class of medications known as poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitors. They work by blocking the action of the PARP enzyme, which helps repair damaged DNA in cells. By inhibiting PARP, Lynparza prevents cancer cells from repairing DNA damage, particularly in cells with mutations in BRCA genes. This leads to the accumulation of DNA damage and eventually cell death, making it an effective treatment for certain types of cancer, particularly ovarian and breast cancer.
