what are the adverse effects of Rhophylac Injection 300 mcg 1 Pre filled Syringe?
Nausea, diarrhoea, chills, fever, headache, dizziness, arthralgia, myalgia, muscle spasms, low back pain, allergic reactions, injection site reactions, anaphylactic reactions, thromboembolic events. Hypotension, aseptic meningitis, acute renal failure. Rarely sometimes fatal cases of intravascular haemolysis.
What happens if I miss a dose of Rhophylac Injection 300 mcg 1 Pre filled Syringe?
Normally 1 amp of Anti Rh 300 by IM not later than 72 hr and intravenously by 84 hr of every termination of pregnancy, abortion or delivery to Rh-negative women with Rh-positive baby. The adjustment of dose can be made as, 1 amp of Anti Rh 300 for every 30-50 mL, transfused blood. For Rh-negative female infant of Rh-positive mothers, one third of adult dose just after delivery.
