Chronic Immune (Idiopathic) Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP): This is a condition where the immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys platelets, leading to excessive bleeding. 

Chronic Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) Infection: In some cases, HCV infection can cause low platelet counts, which can interfere with treatment for the virus. Revolade can help increase platelet levels to allow for effective HCV treatment.

Severe Aplastic Anemia: This is a rare condition where the bone marrow fails to produce enough blood cells, including platelets. Revolade can stimulate platelet production in patients with severe aplastic anemia.

TPO Receptor Activation: Eltrombopag binds the thrombopoietin receptor (TPO-R) on the surface of cells in the bone marrow. This binding activates a signaling pathway within the cell. 

Megakaryocyte Production: The activated signaling pathway triggers the production of megakaryocytes. These are large cells in the bone marrow that give rise to platelets. 

Platelet Production: Megakaryocytes mature and fragment into platelets, which are then released into the bloodstream. 

How Should You Take Revolade 50mg Tablet?

To take Revolade 50 mg tablets accurately, follow these guidelines: 

Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Do not chew, crush, or break the tablet. 

Empty Stomach: Take the tablet on an empty stomach, either 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals. 

Do not consume dairy products, antacids, or mineral supplements containing calcium, iron, magnesium, aluminum, selenium, or zinc within 2 hours before or 4 hours after taking Revolade. These substances can interfere with the absorption of the medication. 

Daily Routine: It is advisable to take Remolade at the same time each day to help remember your dosage schedule.
